Celebrating Constitution Day at GMS!
Mr. Tomlinson and Mrs. Shuman added a little extra fun to their Civics classes today by treating students to red, white, and blue popsicles in celebration of Constitution Day!
Leaders are emerging in Ms. Hyde's class !
Students brainstormed the qualities they believe every successful 21st-century student needs and had to justify their decisions.
With just $50 in pretend money, students had to build their ideal 21st-century student by investing in the traits and skills they valued most.
The catch? They couldn’t buy everything!
Every dollar required a decision and every decision revealed what they believe matters most. Building the future, one quality at a time.

We are excited to kick off our 8th Grade Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser! 🎉🍿
All funds raised will help support our 8th Grade end-of-year activities, celebrations, and ceremonies for the Gifford Middle School Class of 2027. Our goal is to make the end of our students’ middle school journey memorable and special!
The best part? 50% of all sales come directly back to our 8th Grade program, and the popcorn is shipped directly to the buyer—students do not have to collect money, handle products, or make deliveries.

This morning, a few of our GMS Chorus students had the honor of singing during the opening ceremony of Mangrove Sands Golf Club’s 9/11 Memorial Golf Tournament.
We are proud of our Tigers for representing Gifford Middle School as our community came together to remember and honor those whose lives were lost and forever changed on September 11th.

On September 11, Gifford Middle School will take time to remember and honor those whose lives were lost and forever changed on 9/11. Our students will learn about this important day in an age-appropriate and respectful way as we reflect on courage, service, sacrifice, and unity.

Students in Mrs. Karwatske’s 7th Grade ELA class are working collaboratively on a Red Scarf Girl poster project, exploring how loyalty and morality can conflict and shape a person’s identity.
